Question about indexed backlinks

I really hope this isn't a stupid question but I am trying to learn along the way. I have created some 950 backlinks over the course the the past few months on one money site. I ran an index checker to see if they are indexed and it seems that half of them are. The second thing I did was check my money site and it only show about 40 backlinks thru market samurai. the question I have is... when to the indexed links show up as backlinks? It seems that 500 of my 950 links are indexed. so why would samuria only show 40 backlinks, or dont all indexed links show as backlinks?

    No one answered this, probably because the answer is all over these forums, however I will.

    No, at times some links will never register. Webmaster tools should tell a majority of your links though. Also it could take up to 6 months for your links to assist your ranking but many times 3 months is where I start to see a large taper.

    Markus3000, its normal. Don't worry about the number of links, just keep building quality links. Forget crap links, build quality only.

    Persistence will pay off.
