Most of these kws are low competition, I am talking less than 100 backlinks to the page, showing on top ten google competition on market Samurai

The monthly EXACT local searches ranges from 5000, to 12,000
(decent , very happy with that)

Each has been set up as a Silo Landing Page, supported by internal supporting articles.

Obviously each landing page, will be bookmarked separately, along with the internal articles, though slightly less backlinks to those. The internal articles will have LSI kws targeted as well.

I dont have a lot of money for link networks, But I guess I can also do fiverr gigs, web2.0(a lot of that myself), etc.

Oh the CPC (from Google adwords contextual tool) ranges from
2.77. to 3.80.........so they have decent CPC

i was thinking of maybe starting with two kws first
one is
8000 exact local
other is
12,000 exact local

I was thinking of doubling up on that pair,

But there are several kws that are
5000 and 8000 respectively that have almost NO backlinks for the competition so I thought maybe I should target those firest since easier to get to number one

Not boring at all, lots of real life data in that there post lol.

Personally I'd start with the weakest competition first regardless of the amount of searches (to a degree), I know this sounds like the obvious choice but my reasoning is that the quicker you can rank, the quicker you get traffic, the quicker you can see if your site is converting, stuff like:

    ad placement
    style of content
    images
    colors

and all that good stuff you can only test with traffic.

    just my opinion of course

    thanks

I'd tend to say like Andy, since you don't seem to have much money, definitely start with the keyword you think will be easier to rank for.

Also, I'd like to mention that you should not only consider the # of backlinks to a specific page (I hope you don't, but just wanted to be cautious). You should also look at h tags targeting the keyword you're after as well as PR and age.

No matter how many backlinks has a specific page (not talking url, but page backlinks), you might have a hard time ranking against an aged PR website with proper on-page optimization.

Another thing I see is that you will monetize your website with google Adsense, which is a good thing, BUT what I want you to look at is, beyond the CPC, is there any ads when you search for that keyword in Google? A 4.00$ CPC with no ads isn't gonna make you any money since you'll probably get really low CPC and no relevant ads (which will most likely DECREASE your CTR too...). So make sure to target relevant keywords with competition between advertisers.

At the end, it really is all about ROI, so since you want to get the fastest return possible to confirm that you're not wasting money, go for the easiest keyword at first.

You run the risk of burning yourself out before you've even started if you go for the biggest searches (hardest) first. Just go for the easier ones and sort the kinks out once you have traffic. Then you'll be ready for the big boy keywords

The most risk free method is to build backlinks evenly over your keywords, instead of just focusing on one or two which can look unnatural.

Also, make sure you throw in lots of keyword variations: how to find keyword, keyword tips, more info on keyword, keyword info, secrets to keyword etc. The more diverse your backlink profile is the better.
