Google just shut down all my PPC campaigns...

I just found out the Google just shut down my PPC campaigns because they apparently do not like my page at:

InspireMoreHeroes.com - Ben Neumann is putting America Back to Work, One Small Business Hero at a Time

I'm sure that happened to another warrior before. Any advice as to what the problem could be and how to fix it?

Thanks.

    1. It's a squeeze page with no navigation bar.
    2. You don't have privacy policy, Disclaimer on your site
    3. There is no valuable information on the landing page for the user.

Its been a while that you cant drive adwords traffic to simple squeeze page.

Better drive adwords traffic to a blog post that promotes the link to the squeeze page or have a blog sidebar optin form.

Is your account suspended for life ? or just that domain banned from running ?

It has happened to hundreds to thousands of people, the page does not meet googles terms / if the only option is to sign up to get the info / squeeze then its a no go, the product topic is a MMO ? which if not most all will fail with the hype ruling, the page offers nor real visitor benefit in terms of content, the site is thin and needs to be a full fledged site.

To fix it will depend on your ban if it just the site it forget about running it, if its your account your going to totally rebuild that page into a site and offer some real content and then resubmit it to google.

Like tryinhere says, you need to fix the site by making it a full blown content site, then contact them and try to get your account back. It is worth a try even if they have suspended your entire account.

And if you do get your account back, never send Adwords traffic to a squeeze page again!

Your sending your PPC traffic to a squeeze page, did you read Google's TOS?

Get a site on there with some good content, with policies etc.
Then contact G to ask for the ban to be lifted, keep your fingers crossed, you might be lucky.

AdWords is not for the amateur. You really need to understand their TOS "completely" if you want to succeed. They aren't known for second chances so be very careful.

I suggest killing off any campaigns you have until you've spent enough time reading and understanding what they are looking for.

It's a simple squeeze page, I don't think there is something wrong with that, however Google wants content on the landing pages, that's part of what they want and you have to give it to them depending on the keyword you are targeting. Like some fellow Warriors said check first the TOS and then start a new marketing campaign that is complaint to what they want.

You can get your ads back. Just fix the page.

Google has suspended me several times. Contact them and tell them you made changes and to lift the suspension.

As mentioned above the problem is:
    1. You don't have privacy policy, Disclaimer on your site
    2. There is no valuable information on the landing page for the user.

Add some content. Explain what the visitor is getting after they optin. Drop in some bullet points and text.

Some of my best "squeeze pages" have a lot of content that fully explain what I'm offering.

Just use several optin forms. Add content...drop in a form...add more content...drop another optin form. This has worked for me to eliminate the issue with Google but also to build a very receptive list.

its very common to ban this type of landing pages. no content no privacy, no data how can Google trust your landing page?

  • Thanks for the great feedback, guys. I'll be reworking the site and contact Google once I'm done. I'm surprised that Google truly cares that much about where the traffic goes. Its not like a squeeze page is something illegal. Oh well, too much power...

Are you kidding? AdWords is their primary money maker. They take care of their baby. If AdWords started getting a bad rep, they could stand to lose billions.

It's not about Google's perceived power. They do this because people have told them they don't like it that way. Therefore, to keep up quality, they don't allow certain things that real people told them is not a good user experience.
