I have seen anywhere from .50 to 1 dollar, quality seems to vary widely. Do you think if I offered a service on the for hire section at .60 per BMR article it would be too cheap? To me its not that bad since I am fast typer, good writer. But then I thought hmm.

What price do you guys feel comfortable paying for that service? or for writing article service?

I was thinking 1c per word is good, but then I saw a lot for less. But then sometimes you get what YOu pay for I guess.

You can charge differently at different sites. Normally price ranges from 50 cents to $1 so you can offer same service at different price at different sites.

    I pay $.50 - $.90 for a 150 word post with 100% acceptance rate.

I would hook up with you today for $.60 a post as it seems your grammar is very good and you work fast.

I have them signed up as a writer on my account and they only get paid once the posts are accepted. If they get 2 rejections I fire them.

I think you pay with a penalty to your site....as evidenced by many people reporting in.

But seriously, I am/was paying .50/post from an ad I placed on Freelancer. He does a good job....I post them myself, do some light editing on occasion and add an additional 125-130 words to get two links. I basically just build off what he began writing about.

I've bought BMR posts from Odesk before for $0.50 per post. Terrible experience, the quality was horrendous, none of the posts were accepted, I had to spend some time fixing grammar/spelling errors to get them accepted. I'm sure there are good writers who can write good posts for $0.50 but they are hard to find.

I'm paying $0.30 per post via Elance -- for my last 400 articles
You can always use someone who has only had 1 or 2 gigs under their belt... and test them by asking them to be creative about "Keyword X" in 50 words or so in the reply.

Be careful about how you phrase your "tests" as some sites don't allow getting samples.

.5 to 1 is totally ok.
i think .6 is the best. these BMRs are around 100-150. Remember if you don't care about the quality then the rate is OK

If you can get .5 for a BMR post that seems like a great deal as long as it gets approved

I bang out 150 word original, informative posts in a minute or two using Dragon. I can almost do them in my sleep. (not that informative or original counts for much when looking for backlinks). It's the setting up of the post and URL / keyword that slows me down. So I've started outsourcing that part of it. And I'm training an employee to use dragon as a memo writer.
