I have been building links to my 1 year old site like crazy last couple of weeks. I made my first ever sale BUT I am not ranking. I am using magicsubmitter but I really need some help,what am I doing wrong,should i buy some homepage contextual backlinks? I really need some help. I dont know how to check the keyword difficulty

    First of all ranking is not a overnight game! You need to wait to see ranking if you are doing the correct work even it need time to see result. As you said you are using some kind of boot (submitter) personally I do not like any boot. Google only love organic way.. best of luck

    Don't buy ANY Links... Some hints: 1) Create a signature and use your KEYWORD as an anchor text. 2) Post to some forums (with a link in the signature just like WF) 3) Create and article and create backlinks to the article (this will also create links to your website) Good Luck

    This is what I am trying to do but it dosent work,I dont have the tools to build backlinks to my backlinks, i need scrapebox,xrumer and amr but even then I dont have any clear strategy,its just hit and miss really. I dont know what to do. I NEED to get to first page,i know a lot of people say that its important but to me this would be my primary income. I really really have to do it

    Don't go like crazy or you will be bored in couple of days. Do link building with slow pace and be patient for couple of weeks. Then you will see the results.

    Avoid buying links or trying to game Google in other shady ways.

    Stick to building high quality contextual links to your site. In the long run slow and steady wins the race vs. blackhat spam.

    If you want to track your rankings look into Rank Tracker or Advanced Web Ranking, both are popular tools used by many Warriors.

    SEO is a long term game. Alot of people have the misconception that all you need is off page (link building) to rank in the serps. Its important to also build a quality site that provides a great user experience.

    Diversify your links.

    Get links from blogs, blog comments, forum profiles, article directories, guest blog posts etc.

    Do your homework.

    Be sure to do your research before throwing up a site. Its important to see what your competitions are doing and how they got their number #1 rankings.

    I would suggest you for manual submissions like post articles at article directories, perform directory submissions, bookmarking of website's pages, forum posting, blog posting, blog commenting etc.

    The guy at number one spot has got a lot of high pr links from blogs and has got a lot of homepage high pr links also. Thats why I was thinking of doing the same thing

    I wouldn't recommend scrapebox and xrumer etc, they can be risky if you use them to build links directly to your money site. As a general rule, if you can get a crap load of links really quickly and easily - they're not links worth having.

    First - define for yourself what your site is about
    Second - evaluate and identify your keywords
    Third - consistently build backlinks (not aggressively for a few days...consistently)...remember google knows you get x visitors a day ....so it will catch you if you create 50x links every day (simplistic - but i am sure u get the idea)....be slow and be consistent....and avoid the xrumers/scrapeboxes....

    but above all else - ensure that you have good content that visitors will appreciate and like...

    Fourth - Dabble with social media - get fans by giving them a freebie to like your page....then engage your fans so they like/share your content....this will progressively get you more fans and direct visits...

    Go back to step 1 and start over
