Is using AMR considered blasting?

I constantly read that you should never "blast" your main site with blog comments, profiles and the like, but rather blast your 2nd level sites such as hubpages to avoid getting slapped by google. Does this also apply for sending an article through article marketing robot? Those of you use AMR, do you link your articles to your main site or 2nd level sites? I guess my main question is, is using AMR considered "blasting" in the same sense of blog comments or forum profiles?

I suppose that technically, it could be considered blasting but I have not ever seen any negative results from this.

Consider that even if you have some good lists, you probably only have a 2-3 thousand directories with the "ok" status. With one submission you will probably get about half of those to successfully submit. Out of those that are submitted, only 1/3 to 1/2 of those will actually post it and they will not post all at once they will show up over the course of a week or so in my experience. Then take into account that only a portion of those will get indexed by G.

When it is all said and done. I might get a couple hundred out of a "blast" which appear over the course of a week or two which doesn't seem very "blasty" to me...

To say of what is that it is not, or of what is not that it is, is false, while to say of what is that it is, and of what is not that it is not, is true.

That makes very good sense, thank you for this information. This has encouraged me to give AMR a try.

Also I forgot to mention, if you are really paranoid about it, AMR also has a drip feed feature (scheduler) that allows you to set it up to post them over a specified period of time for instance 10 per day, 2 per every 6 hours or whatever you want.

Also keep in mind that these are NOT high quality links. They do seem to work pretty well for very low competition keywords and are a good way to build some diversity. It should be used as a component of your linking strat rather that the focus of it.

This is a very important point. While AMR may be advertised as the end all solution to your backlinking campaign it simply is not. You need to have links from forum, social bookmarking sites, social networks, web 2.0 properties, article directories, regular directories, stats sites. press releases and so many more. Don't just think one tool is gonna do everything for you. I used to believe that too, sadly it will never be the case.

You can use AMR, because not ALL of your links are going to be found by google at the same time.

If google was able to find all of your links at the same time, then you might have a problem.

    Don't worry about it.

Blasting just implies a large quantity of links at once.

AMR can definitely do this if not used carefully. As a general rule, try to gradually build links instead of trying to build all your links overnight.

Yes of course it is but why the hell not do it, you dont want to submit to those directories by hand now do you?

When you get tonne of content or backlinks in one, you may call it blasting... And, blasting in any form, is dangerous for a website. I would advise you to stay away from it.

Can you use unique articles or just spun with AMR? Like posting 50 unique articles to 50 directories in a run.
