I've made some forum profile links. They are not getting indexed. Is there any way to ping profile link or any other way to get them indexed?

What about pingomatic? I used it just when I created links. But it doesn't seem to work.

Nuclear Indexer is a popular service run by Kok Choon(WF Member) and I think you'll find his service works quite well for this. Give it a shot, you can do 1000 links per month for only $7.

I stopped using forum profile links a while back as I don't know that they have measurable SEO value. They are good for building link diversity, but I also saw very few of them getting indexed. I was using PingDevice to ping them so you may want to try that.

Alternatively, you could build some links that actually work instead.

as everyone else says, ping 'em. Profile links are a lot harder to get indexed than others.

Only ping them won't work! I recently created about 200 profile links (just to check something!) and in about 1 month, only TWO ot them were indexed. Tried to ping them (the second month only about 10 ...) .. But if you want to increase their number, you should build backlinks to them! Build backlinks to these profile links and this will surely do the trick (I now have about 100+ profile links indexed)

I wouldn't use forum profile links. They're very hard to get indexed and at this point, no one thinks Google puts much value in them.

I would just invest in high quality links that get indexed on their own. That's the key, in the time it takes you to research your crumby forum profile links, work to get them indexed, and make sure they're indexed, you could have made quite a few high quality GOOD links that are 1) Worth more SEO value and 2) Get's indexed on their own.

NLI, Backlink Energizer etc. will help you to index forum profile links. Some high PR(Domain) forums will help you to get positive little SERP movement. However there are lots of better alternative link building methods are available. Why are you wasting time behind crappy links?

As simple as it is! Pinging and blasting backlinks to your forum profile links will definitely push search engines to index them.

It takes time for the forum profile links to get indexed. They do not hold much value to google. Moreover you should let them get naturally indexed if you made them in bulk , Big G won't like too many of them pointing to your site out of a sudden. Try to bring some diversity to you linking profile.

This might be a stupid question/answer too, but would actually making a post on said forum increase the chances of being indexed faster?

I imagine robots would have a harder time finding a link in a forum profile if you never post with it, could be wrong though.

Not a dumb question. And the answer to it is, yes, most likely. But people don't really want to take it a step further and post. I'm not a fan of profiles myself. Never saw the appeal of "Angela" style backlinks. If I'm going to join a forum I'd prefer to become a legitimate member and drive traffic through a signature.

For me personally on the occasion I need my lower quality links indexed, I use social bookmarks and have an 80%+ indexing rate with 5 or so bookmarks. You should try SocialADR, that's what I use to index links that need it.

    Hi,

Have you made any post on the forum, if not it is advisable to do as this may increase the possibility to cache your profile page asap.

Just seems like too much work for a low-end profile link. I'd rather join and participate in a handful of high traffic, niche related forums than create thousands of profile links. (And having to make a post or two at each just to help get them indexed.)

      Hi,
It is the right place where you will get relevant information related to your needs. Many of the websites receive a very high amount of traffic and are a huge opportunity for whatever niche your site may fall into. By making an effective signature link for each your posts, you can see an drastic increase in your backlinks and also traffic. This traffic is often highly targeted. The web forums can be used successfully to generate traffic to your website or blog which in turn can help to promote your business.

Just find any high PR blog or website, comment or add your website there, ping them and if this doesn't help, just try to build some backlinks to the NOT-indexed pages (You can use digg, stumbleupon, reddit, etc.)
