How much did you get hit with the most recent google panda update?
Sites dropped? Income dropped?

were you using ALN or BMR? or other high PR backlink or article linking services?

Just curious how everyone is doing, seems to be a mixed bag of who got hit

Yea agreed. It seems to be dominating the forum. Personally, I haven't had any issues and have actually climbed a little in my rankings.

Didnt even know there was a change. Are you building high PR authority backlinks? I'm sure that's why I wasnt effected is because I have HIGH PR backlinks to my money site.

I realize there has been some feedback, but its not in the vein I think most people need.
I think we need to know DID YOU GET HIT? Why do you think you were hit? If you were not hit why do you think you were not hit? Do you avoid BMR, and ALN? and similar types of networks? Or Do you use BMR and you were STILL not hit? and you think its because you had high anchor text diversity, as opposed to others who were hit and they did not.

Its not a question of high PR backlinks, its where those backlinks came from
if they came from high PR backlink networks, or article networks, THAT ARE WELL KNOWN, such as BMR, or ALN thats one thing

If they came from commenting on blogs which were high PR etc, or your own network which nobody knows about
    thats another thing.

And no, I dont think there has been enough feedback on the issue
I have read all the other threads. Most people talk in generalities, and many dont comment on whether they were hit or why they think they were hit. Thats why I felt it necessary to post this thread

Here is a small blurb from a post on a backlinking forum speculating on what a lot of people THINK is the reason sites are getting hit lately

Theories have been the following thus far:
    • low anchor text diversity
    • Content setup with ads and so forth
    • blog network links
    • having too much spun content with backlinks

I agree with op. Not enough details have been discussed. You know why? Because people like the other millions of threads where a person wants to know if social bookmark is important.

From the few keywords that lost ranks, I gather that it was from anchor density. Those keywords were also backlinked from seolinkmonster. Not a lot but still.

Spun PLR was also used for the dropped keywords.

Moving forward I will begin all link compagnes with generic anchor text.

Do not go over 100 spins.

Use networks that have some type of categories setup and moderation.

Last but not least, do weakly submissions to networks at drip feed never to overuse spun articles for backlinks.

I may also start campagnes with social web 2.os. They dont do much but just to mix it up.

Latest panda seems doesn't like mine. Mine dropped some and made me felt nervous.
