2 same niche sites...1 deindexed

I had a site deindexed for about 2 years, so I thought I would let it expire (feb 24) and bought a new domain and figured I would use the content from the expired site. Well my domain host (1and1) renewed it for another year without my consent but didn't charge me for it.

But I already got a new domain and have the content on that one, so now the content will be on both domains. And they are both hosted on hostgator a shared account. I could take the deindexed site off hostgator or should I just leave everything as is??

Does anyone see any problems with this? The site:www.name.xxx doesn't show the site (the deindexed site) but copyscape shows it (the deindexed site).

you should deindex your site first before posting content on new site, make some changes in robot.txt file so your new site cant be affected.

How about just deleting the site in hostgator?? The domain would then be active but nothing on it....I guess.

I would advise you to redirect the unwanted site to the new live version. So, if in any case, your off website comes in search results, the user will be redirected to the live version.
