Hi all,

I'm currently spinning, and re -writing and who knows what, my way to internet millions or insanity - whichever comes first.

And I've hit something I just don't understand. Using UAW for example , each article should be unique - hence spinning and re-writing etc.

But is enables the placing of a video into the article. Here's what I don't understand - each video will be the same although the written articles will be different the video will be leaving a footprint.

Is there something I'm missing? Can anyone explain to me why putting the same video in hundreds of articles is ok?

Thanks in advance for you replies.

    To Google, this looks just like a lot of people saying similar things about the same video. This happens all the time organically.

    And the secret is ... that putting the same paragraphs in hundreds of article is ok too, Jason. Their backlinks don't gain anything at all because the article content's been spun. So why wouldn't it be "ok"?

    Confused? If so, I strongly recommend six things ...

    (i) Start by reading this post, which explains the benefits of spinning;

    (ii) Read this post, following up its links, and you'll learn the truth about how article directories work and why they exist;

    (iii) The first half (or so) of this thread contains a good discussion of what you can gain from spinning articles, and is well worth a read through;

    (iv) The advice on this subject given by so many people throughout most of this thread is seriously helpful;

    (v) Just in case you have (as so many people do) any misapprehensions about what "duplicate content" means, this little post from expert article marketer Anne Pottinger includes direct quotations from Google's WebMaster Central Blog on the subject, and explains them - and you're not going to find a more authoritative source than that;

    (vi) This little article is also a very useful and accurate explanation of the subject.

    That all looks like a lot of reading, but if you allocate an hour or two to it, it's enormously beneficial, and will collectively save you from wasting FAR more time than that.

    It really isn't. And spinned articles aren't considered unique articles any more.
