What Approaches Are You Taking To Google Safe Your Business?

Just curious what other areas you guys are getting into other then SEO and relying on Google traffic. My business has been doing really well and its got me thinking its time to diversify now that I have a solid backbone. I feel like relying on Google is playing the stock market and I'd like to incorporate some other aspects. List building, paid traffic ect... Also if you guys could point me in the direction of any eBooks, websites, courses, WSO's that you feel have helped you further diversify away from solely Google traffic.

Hi,

If you haven't been building your list before now, start, TODAY. There are so many ways to get traffic and it's always changing. Look at MySpace... Build your asset (list) which will be a constant while traffic methods come and go.

Yes, definitely build a list, even on sites where you are ranked high and get lots of traffic because there are no guarantees that it will last forever.

Also, and this is just as important as building a list, you need to create a "relationship" with your list and really care/give a damn. When you do, it makes a huge difference and everybody wins.

  List building for me would be tough on the sites I have now. I have about 40 of them, I build 3 every week so I wouldn't be able to have the personal touch. Also these sites are created to push ads, CPA ect.. So they are geared towards getting people off the page ASAP. This is the approach I take now, it works amazingly well but its risky long term because I am completely dependent on Google traffic. Lists would help the cause but not solve my problem of still solely being dependent on Google traffic to build lists. Any ideas that get me away from Google?
