Re-Indexing De-indexed Content

So I have 2 "baby" sites that were de-indexed after being live for only a week. The some of content on these sites are very high quality (12X1,000 word articles). I had almost forgotten about these sites until I came across the keywords again while doing research.

These keywords are still really good. One gets 12K exact searches, the other one 22K exact searches, both with under 100,000 inquotes competition and no sites optimized properly for them. Now here's my question, would it be a good idea to reuse this same exact content on new domains? The content isn't indexed and still no matches in copyscape.

Interested in hearing a few experiences with this, i remember reading somewhere that this worked like a charm, but id like to get a quick confirmation and some post-panda feedback if you know what I mean. Thanks!

Just to bump and clarify, these sites were deindexed for having "enchanted articles" on them. <----Stay away from these (on money sites), all of them leave HUGE footprints.

After digging through the forum I saw someone mention that there has never been a case study on re-indexing de-indexed CONTENT outside of the domain level. Any input?

I have an 11 year old old site that ive been wondering what to do with. The site is currently in the same niche with a broad keyword and has 7 indexed pages. I want to just move the content here and see what happens.

Will keep you guys updated and would love to hear your experiences.

Big G treats the same content on another site as if it was a clone of the first site. If you do a redirect from the old domain, though, it should all be above board. The redirect will tell Gdogg that you meant to move the content.

    Just asking.

Do you know the difference between deindexed & Google dance (a lot of folks don't)?

Did you do a site:domain.com search?

If the site truly was completely de-indexed, then there are currently no indexed copies of that content. There should be no problem with removing it from the "bad" site and posting it on the other site. If you are keeping the old site around though, I would do like "Thatablaze" mentioned above and put a redirect in place just for good measure.

To say of what is that it is not, or of what is not that it is, is false, while to say of what is that it is, and of what is not that it is not, is true.

Thanks for the heads up, and no i will not even bother keeping the old site around. I consider it dead at this point, it was new anyway.

Looks like the "case study" is closed unless i see something interesting

Of course i do, the site: command search returns:

"In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 0 already displayed.
If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included"

The entire site is blocked from showing up.

Ok just a quick question. What are "enchanted articles" ? Sounds like something from Disney World...

One of my site is de indexed due to some hidden content problem and and another url creation relevant to that at the end of nov 2011. What i had done is that i had removed the new created urls along with hidden cotent. and stopped on page work but carries our off page seo little bit. And now after 3 months it is started coming back again.

So try to find the cause due to which it is deindexed. Correct it and send reconsideration request to google and wait for at least 3-4 months

How were you hiding your content? Were they linked to anywhere in your site structure? Or were they just random filler pages? That used to work wonders for me as I used to use a bunch of spun non-human readable content. Panda came out and nuked the crap out of those sites.

Im picking up these keywords again with new sites, but it is a pain in the @ss
