Yes. but don't forget the current google above the fold algorithm not supportive for these type of ad placement. If you are placing ads on the top of the page and there is no other content then your ranking will affect with google above the fold algorithm. You have to use this smartly.

just bookmarked the thread will read it in the morning,

but the following is what ive learnt playing with google,

the 468 * 60 block is the best choice for the above the fold algorithm, i also have a 780 * 90 leaderboard on the same site also above the fold, and a 468 * 60 near the center above the fold, .....

at the end of the month the 468*60 makes me more money than the bigger one and the sidebar.

The 468x60 ad is best performing above the fold? Those things only show one ad usually. How would that be better than other larger ad units?
Just wondering people's opinions as I have never used the 468 ad before and use a 336x280 ad above the fold.

        no opinion , strictly statistics!

if more the merrier were to be true,
mfa would not be a term to look down upon by google itself ( & others ),
        would it then?

Well, I'm always up to do new testing and I've added the 468x60 ad block. We'll see how it goes.

    Hi YoungLoft,

In one of your blogs you say that you shouldn't have ads below navigation bars due to the possibility of accidental clicks. Would a link unit be ok here though as don't these need to be clicked on twice in order to get paid? Its unlikely accidental if they click on an ad twice. Or should i remove a link unit from below my navigation?
