It is a keyword tool. I tried Market Samurai but didn't really like the user experience. Long Tail Pro is easier to use and faster and has helped me find quality keywords.

I use Ultimate Niche Finder and have never looked back.

Market Samurai had its moment in the sun, but it's been too buggy over the past year and crashes too much.

Market Samurai lost quite a few of its users over the last few months with various software issues.

Niche Finder (not to be confused with Micro Niche Finder or Ultimate Niche Finder) isn't too bad if you are on a budget.

Google Keyword Tool (Free)

Google Suggestion Scraper (There's a few free ones floating around. Scrapebox has one built in and you can turn 10 keywords into a few thousand with the press of a button.)

Spreadsheet program to analyze the data (Free. I know, sounds terrible. But once you get the hang of it, it's incredibly powerful. Fellow WF member packerfan has an awesome tutorial @ Create A Website | Website Hosting | Domain Names | Wordpress Themes)

Traffic Travis to check the competition. (Free)

  Long Tail Pro is my preferred.
  
  As people mentioned MS is too big and takes longer.
  Their competition analysis is better than TLP but you can still do the things you need with LTP.
  
  Niche Finder is something I haven't tried and didn't even know about the other ones..

Market Samurai is crap! It had it's moment, once upon a time, but it's way too slow and buggy more recently - to the point that you can't even use it at all. I have also used micro niche finder and ultimate niche finder. ultimate niche finder is the best one from my experience. This is because they have the fastest exact match domain lookup I have seen. Plus I like how you can keep expanding different keywords to get even more long tail phrases. Combine this with keyword ninja and you will dominate your niche.

Both are good . Market samurai is not very easy to use and niche finder is very easy to use .You can choose according to your expertise .

Another vote for Market Samurai. I couldn't imagine my day without it. It's not the most responsive application as it is built on Adobe Air but it works.
