Keep pagerank on blog

Hi, i have bought a high pagerank blog, and i want to keep the pagerank with as little work as possible. I have read a lot of older posts from around 2007-2009 where people used rss feeds to keep the site updated. Is this seen on as duplicate content by google? Is this good enough to keep the sites pagerank, or do i need to post my own blog updates regularly?
If anyone have any threads/links about using rss to feed my blog, could you post them to this thread or in a private message? Would really appreciate it
