Advice on site with traffic but no revenue..

I have two sites each which get about 10K visitors a month, about a 15% return rate, and an average of about 4 minutes per visit (entertainment sites). I built these initially just for fun and wasn't thinking about monetizing them but they have grown pretty good over the years.

The problem I'm having now is that there is practically zero adwords users competing for almost any of the phrases that my sites rank for. The sites are similar to fmylife.com but different category altogether. Can anyone suggest any ways to make some money off of these sites? No dice with adsense at all.. Are there any other options someone can suggest to try and make some money off of this traffic. Thank you

    Random adsense image ads can be better than nothing...with user interest based ads turned on.

    Or cpa offers would probably do much better.

    Depending on the entertainment. You could build landing pages on the site for Amazon products and make your own ads linking to the landing pages. Then make money off selling Amazon products like books or beauty products. Things that someone into entertainment would want. The products you post may rank as well for their targeted terms since you will be linking to them from your site.

    Try CPA zip/email submit offers. They converts well for non targeted traffics. Also you can use the traffic for list building on niches like discount offers etc.
