This site is NOWHERE, should I redo the link structure

New Medical site I made
it has about 5 main pages, I set them up as landing pages (categories) in wordpress
it allows you to put normal html on category pages
maybe thats the problem I am not sure
Google shows the site as indexed but I mean these pages are DEEP
like 1500 words each, great images etc, lots of web2.0 backlinks
they are all NOWHERE in google index, not in top 100 pages even, and its very non competitive kws as far as backlinking
Should I dump the "category" setup?
and just delete those? and put these as www.medicalsite.com/medicalkeyword1.html
www.medicalsite.com/medicalkeyword2.html
I dont think google likes seeing

as the url
It seems to index them, they are indexed but they get no respect in the serps
