3000 impressions = 1 click

Man I have much to learn.

I am running a campaign on breeze ads.com, I have 3000 plus impressions and only one stinking click.

I guess I have a lot to learn about keywords and biddin.

I want to do this full time but I have to learn I suppose. I am just tired of all the hype. I have made my choice, Internet marketing is where I want my career. I have to do this. I have to learn.

I only have a few bucks invested in the PPC campaign to try and get some traffic. So far no go.

Is there a secret to writing the ads so that people actually click on it?

Thanks

Best advice I could give you is read cashvertising and other psychology books from Caples, Ogilvy, etc. Once you have a better understanding of your demographic (demographic research is CRUCIAL here), you'll be able to apply the concepts you have learned and the most important part will be split testing and tracking everything you do in order to know what works and what doesn't!

Haven't done any PPC in a long time, but that should be a great start and I'm sure some experienced PPC could chime in and give you other tips to complement that, but you really need to start by the basics - consumer/human psychology!

Always be running tests, it is often the case where you can turn a losing campaign into a winner with just a few tweaks.

The test should not be just impressions / clicks, but costs per conversion. How much does it cost to make a sale.

    It's all a numbers game.

I would use keywordspy.com to get some ideas.

Search for the root keyword on Google Search. The root keyword for the examples below is dating.

Great piece of advice Yukon I forgot to say that in my initial post, spying on what other people do can bring a lot of ideas to add to you split test! In ppc for instance there is an awesome tool named whatrunswhere that might be very useful to you! I remembered seeing a good deal for it on app sumo!

        Thanks,

Bottom line is, it's all about split testing.

Take today's data, & do better tomorrow, repeat... It never stops...

-Are your keywords targeted enough against the product?

-Are the ad targeted against the product and the sales letter?

      Thank you all,

Taskemann, to be honest. I am trying to to target enough keywords against the product. I am not sure that I am doing it correctly or not. I suppose it is just about trying trying trying.

Like was said before, I will change it everyday until I get a combo that gets clicks.

      Thanks!

i prefer to choose CPC rather than CPM, at least Cpc will guarantee your banner clicked.

I couldn't understand "I will change it everyday until I get a combo that gets clicks."?

Well, you should not target too many keywords on one page, it should maximum 2 or 3 keywords.......
