Hi,

I want to increase the quality score of my landingpage by dynamically inserting the searchterm. The goal is to lower the cost per click.
My landinpage is a Optimizepress page.

Has anyone tried that and can give me some advice? Are there any wordpress plugins that would help?

thanks in advance.

Quality Score is about your click rate. Until you change your ads to get better click rates, nothing you do on your page will increase your QS, unless your page is irrelevant to your keywords.

I don't believe this is true. I have seen Quality Score rise from adding something as simple as a privacy policy and TOS to landing pages. Also utilizing meta tags, headlines and other elements has helped lower CPC before.

I do not know about automating the process but I did optimize my landing pages for specific terms and locations along with the URL of that LP. This seemed to help me lower CPC as well.

        Hi cheapstuff,

Yes, there are other factors, but CTR is the primary factor and makes up approximately 65% of your Quality Score. As long as the essential elements are present in your landing page, and your keyword is contained in your ad text, the only thing that really matters is CTR. Discount's the importance of CTR at your own peril.

Your initial QS is a crapshoot via whatever google wishes
to use. After that, CTR, CTR, CTR.

    Hi sabrina81,

Yes, you can do that with AdWords' Dynamic Keyword Insertion feature. This post will explain how to do it:

Google Adwords Dynamic Keyword Insertion PHP Script | Dave Wooding

It is simple enough for anyone with a little basic PHP knowledge. There are likely a few plugins, I just never looked because it is easy enough to do without a plugin.

Having said that, You would probably be better off putting effort into improving the CTR of your ad since that is the primary factor in your AdWords Quality Scores.

As far as I know relevance is the most important thing for gettingen a good qs:

keyword relevant -> ad relavant -> landingpage.

Thanks for the article Google Adwords Dynamic Keyword Insertion PHP Script.

My landingpage is a wordpress blog. That means I have to use a plugin that lets me execute php code in posts and pages, am I right?

I tried that before and that screwed up my optimizepress theme

Is there really no wp plugin? I can`t believe dynamic landing pages are that unpopular or useless...
