keyword tools - market samurai ?

Hi Warriors,

I just wonder anybody tried market samurai ? I read from some of the WSO being sold here, speak highly about market samurai.

Not sure the recent yahoo explorer backlinks changes will impact the accuracy for this software or not.

Can somebody provide me some advice ? Thanks.

Market Samurai is a great tool. I only use it for checking my SEO Competition though it has many functions such as keyword research, content finder and so on.

  Market Samurai struggle with some problems since last google update, but most are already fixed and MS is still best keyword research tool at the market.

MS is good

1. it has always been sloowwwww for kw research, instead do that on Google adwords tool, same database, 1000x faster

2. kw ranking lots of people used to use it for that, Now it wont work for that, something about Google blocking them

3. I use it for top 10 google analysis, its very good for this and also very quick, takes maybe 20 secs for each kw, that is the SEO function on MS

go to google watch some MS vids that will teach you how to use it

  For me its too slow also I hear they are taking some of their data from Bing now also
  
  I still am a big fan of Micro Niche Finder there is the occasional bug but their support and developers are usually all over it fast, so generally it works perfect 99% of the time, they get their backlink data from Majestic SEO

What I do is this

Kw Research go to Google adwords tool
enter the words, set to Local, Exact
get all the data

CPC?
Adwords Contextual Tool
enter kw get CPC
Ignore the CPC that shows up on Google Adwords Standard Tool, that is not the Adsense CPC, its not accurate. Only Contextual Tool is for Adsense

Now if you find the kws you want?
go to Market Samurai
Enter the kw in SEO tool ,
click on that analyze Top 10 competition on Google

Cant beat that combination IMO

I haven't personally tried it but my friend keeps telling me good things about it. If you are not sure to purchase yet, just visit their site and try the 7 days free trial.

Great ... let me try it out and share with you. Will try to get Micro Niche Finder too.
I have been using Google Keywords and Wordtracker in the past but I found the keywords pool from Wordtracker not comprehensive compared to what I have seen in Market Samurai.

I think the number one complaint against MS is its slowness.

I did try MS a while back, but I found the interface to be very confusing and I couldn't be bothered sitting down to watch hours of tutorials on how to use it.

I think you better to use Traffic travis free version which gives fast results. Few months ago MS was a good tool. Now we heard so many complaints about it.

Market samurai is still a great tool. But it depends what you're wanting to do. I research bulk domains so market samurai is just too slow for me. At the moment i'm using SECockpit and Long Tail Pro.

I think it is an excellant product - its all I use and I dont even use the full functionality. When I started I also bought a lot of crap same as everybody but this was definately worth every cent

I use a combination of the Adwords tool and the free versionof Traffic Travis. This has worked well for me. Although, Market Samurai is a great resource as well. Good luck.

Market Samurai is a brilliant tool. I have been using it since the time I started off - and believe me when I say that if you know to use it, it is a gold mine in itself! That being said, I suggest the Google Keyword Tool as of now- because I have been seeing glimpses of slow functioning in Market Samurai. You may just want speedy results if you are using it for indepth keyword research.
