Ranking niche sites, how long, any advice?

Hi,

I launched around 10 EMD niche websites like 3 weeks ago. Most of them went on the first page in google in 48-72 hours.

But now the main problem, most of them are ranked place 7-8-9. So for niche almost worthless. Most of them have 10-20 uniques a day.

If I look at the websites above me, mostly also page back links zero, and only some have PR1 or 2. So I should be able to win with EMD. (most have nothing with the keyword in their domain)

I have done:

- Social bookmarks
- ALN (which should help!)
- Directory and .edu backlinks
- Atleast a few PR5 backlinks from page with less then 15 OBL
- All onpage optimalisation, h1, tags, atleast 10+ articles so not really MFA

But some how, nothing is happening!

So my question is: Do I just have to wait a few months, google is keeping me low because of the age? Or did I miss something else?

Anyone any experience with this?

Best regards,

Basically when your having a new niche it goes with Google dance<-- normal for new sites. Just keep the link building and increase them gradually. I suggest to gather you full Monty and ping them then index.

Just wondering, for how long this could take because, their not in a competitive niche at all.

I dont really believe in the google sandbox, but it feels like their in some kind of barrier.

Some even have like websites above them wich are not even related to to the subject with zero pagerank no backlinks nothing. And mine have homepage and contextual backlinks from PR5 pages and EMD!

It feels like whatever I do, the cant get past that barrier.

If it's only been three weeks, then you need to let them simmer. Just be patient, don't panic and don't anything crazy.

If the sites above you are weak for the keywords like you said (pr0-2) and they don't appear in the domain name. Then you should be good for those keywords, and you probably don't need to do as much backlinking as you think.

Could take several months for them to claim their rightful place.

While you are waiting for those sites to finish cooking, you should start working on your next ten sites.

Look! No links in my signature. This means I actually have something useful to say. I'm not just posting to be posting...

Seo is all about patience so there is no shortcut to it. Popularity comes slowly and gradually so keep up the work and it will repay soon.

Guest post links are effective when they are contextual and natural!!

What I know when it comes to ranking is that age is a determining factor. The older your site is the more preference it will be given by Google. Maybe you just need to be patient and you will start ranking well with time.

When you see a site high - with no backlinks - STOP AND THINK.... they are building 301 redirection backlinks so people like you can't find them and copy!

Haha, dont worry thats really not the case. The competition is not that smart. Im talking about the Dutch market here and low competition keywords. Im talking about website that are above me with sites like.

      nottheykeyword/nothekeyword/not/not/keyword and PR0 or N/A
