Could My Adsense Site Be Sold?

Looking to sell my site Choosing Goodyear Assurance Tires | Goodyear Assurance Tires...maybe on Flippa, not sure I have their listing fee though, so could be DP.

Anyway I was wondering if It would fetch ANYTHING at all? It was one of the first projects I started. I purchased the KW from a guy on another forum and bought an article, SEO'd it, backlinked it and didn't do anything for months. Checked it out recently and was pleasantly surprised to see its a PR1.

I think its a pretty good amazon/adsense prospect. Selling goodyear products and such. I have no idea how much monthly traffic it gets. Probably none.

Anyway I'd appreciate opinions.

The key to any successful site is traffic. Since you have yourself said it does not get any traffic at all, even after a long time, it does not have any good prospect. Don't list it on flippa, you probably won't recover your listing fee. However, you may find a buyer who might buy it for few dollars (less than $100) and build backlinks to it to get the site "up and running". But don't put much hope on it.

Traffic is one thing, but traffic without a market is useless. If there are no advertisers, then you won't make money with Adsense. If there are no products or no buyers, then you won't make affiliate money.

Without traffic it's practically worthless, no traffic equals no income....

That domain was registered in Oct 2011 which is not old enough. There are backlinks but not much traffic. I think you should wait 1, 2 year more - build traffic and backlinks and then sell it.

Sites sell for thousands of dollars that are only a month old, it depends on the traffic and revenue not the age

you will need to prove the amount of traffic it gets in order to make it worth while someone looking at it and considering buying it. if you can increase the sites traffic or adsense conversions then yes you could sell it easily. There are people out there buying up sites all the time.

Based on semrush.com, your website is not ranking for any keyword phrase that is worth money. If there is no monthly cashflow, nobody will buy your website.

Choose a keyword phrase with 1,000 exact match and CPC with at least $1 and optimize your site for that keyword. Once your website ranked on first page of Google for that keyword, you can put adsense ads and start getting money.

Once there's income for a couple of months, you can sell your website on flippa for 8-12 times your website's monthly income. For example, if your website monthly income from adsense is $100, you can sell your website for $800 - $1200.

    Hope this helps.

So you reccomend not putting ads up until you are ranked eh? I have been putting ads on my sites right away...does this have any negative affect on my site??

I may be wrong but I have a feeling that if your website is not ranked on first page and you put adsense ads, Google might flag your site as one of those MFA sites. In any case, Google will pay you much more money if your website is ranked on top 3 positions.
