    Yes it probably will have an impact, and the reason for this is that I'll assume you're using wordpress and most likely your H1 tag is the same as your blog title, which has a major impact on SEO (on-page).

    Hope this help you out understanding why titles are usually pretty important!

    Definitely domain name has very deep impact for your business and website. If you are covering your keyword in your domain, then it is very helping for you rather than you are not covering your keyword.

      Agree with most of the folks here.
      Assuming the OP's question was whether changing the domain name will have any impact on the site's SEO and therefore, the site's traffic, the answer is YES. It will have an impact.

      The suggested steps to minimize the SEO impact are :
      1. Copy the entire contents of the old domain on the new domain.
      2. Use 301 redirect to forward all the important pages/posts individually to the new domain.
      For example : yourolddomain.com/page1 ---301redirect -- yournewdomain.com/page1

      yourolddomain.com/post1 ---301redirect--- yournewdomain.com/post1

      3. Submit the new domain to all the search engines/social bookmarking sites
      4. Use Google Webmaster tools feature for change in the domain name

    Changing domain name will definitely have a big impact on your traffic. I am not saying that your ranking will plummet but your routine visitors may get confuse between old domain and new domain. Its better to redirect your ole domain to the new one and et the old domain appear in the search results.
