Adwords and Exit Pop Ups

Hi all,
I'm trying to work out if it's ok to have an exit pop up/optin if it is possible for the user to still use the back button on their browser.

The Adwords terms and condition isn't very clear and I'm still unsure.

I'm using Optimizepress and the exit popup does still allow the back button to be used without having to close the popup.

Any wisdom would be much appreciated!

You are talking about a light box or in screen pop, which in effect does meet googles terms, how ever this is a real grey area, where even some of the operators do not really understand the question at google and through that a person reviewing your account may see the in context pop as not meeting terms (when it does) and suspend your account or running ads for that site.

To remove all possibility of this happening it probably better to stay away from it and remove the headache and risk. - maybe look at a join our newsletter option as you best bet.

The Adwords popup policy is very clear. Basically, don't use them.
