I know that authority site content needs to be of a much better standard than what most ppl are publishing with micro niche sites.

My question is how much do these type of articles cost to outsource and where can i find such writers?

check out the warriors for hire section. I pay around $10 per article. Got 40+ on my site each of around 1000 words. Posted two articles tonight and got straight to page 1 .

is $10 enough to get quality content for a authority site?

If the site you're looking to build is the one in your sig, you need to find a writer that understands DSHEA compliance. All natural health marketers are at risk of the FTC shutting them down if their marketing materials aren't DSHEA-compliant.

The barest minimum you should pay for a quality writer that knows how do this is $25 per article. Realistically you will pay at least $50 per article.

Otherwise you risk non-compliant marketing materials that will get you shut down (best case) or fined and imprisoned (worst case).

it will be a new site. i'm just wanting to talk about certain topics and not push products. the product will just be listed at the bottom of the article. hopefully the readers will purchase the products without me pushing them.

You can get quality for about 2c and above per word, IMO, avoid at all costs places who do work and outsource the work, they cant afford to pay their workers and the quality suffers

    Oh, okay.

Well, I think that $10 is the bare minimum that you should expect to pay for quality content...really, $25+ is what you might want to pay.

it sounds like you are taking a good, honest direction for your authority site.

Consider this: if you want to save money, you could buy PLR articles in your niche and pay about $1 per article, and then pay to have those articles rewritten (NOT spun) for $3 to $10 (approximately) and you could save some money.

Your niche is largely going to determine the rate per article.
