Low Traffic Keywords in Domain Name

All,

I'm creating an eBook for a real estate niche that I'm very passionate about. I've already registered a domain name and have reviewed my excepted key word traffic.

The problem is that the keywords that make up my domain name receive 16 exact searches a month (adwords tool).

I know there are other combinations available that will broaden traffic a bit. Should I continue with the project? I believe the eBook will sell and can generate income through affiliate links. But I'm getting worried that organic search traffic is going to be hard to come by.

Thanks,
Casey

If the domain is brandable, keep it. Choose a domain that you can brand - look at TruthAboutAbs.com. That's not a keyword domain, but it's the #1 ab ebook on the internet.

You can always rank for the more searched for keywords without having them in your domain.

      DeskCoder,

Thanks. The name is fairly brandable. I'm thinking the same thing - that I can rank for keywords in my articles. I guess the Market Samurai golden rules are getting to me.

      Thanks,
      Casey

See, real estate niche is competitive... but the keywords are less competitive. No doubt, your ebook will rank high but I am little doubtful about the traffic.

If possible for you, target some competitive keywords.
