  Lol this is too funny to me. I think it is a statement but very poorly worded. Almost like someone looking for profile links, except without the link???
  
  Oh well, I'm confused. I would probably order a .edu backlinking gig from fiver but only if they are ranked high and do this manually. Otherwise it might hurt your site more than anything.

.edu and .gov are so overated and it sounds like you are now part of a link farm - not a good idea - IMHO

  It's probably not a scam, but the seller's accounts got banned by google, he probably didn't use unique IP per account.

I understand and appreciate that cost of USD 5 may not be much but as other warriors have pointed out, it could cost you heavily in SERPs.

Like anything in life, you need to do due diligence to ensure that it will yield you a positive result.

For $5.00??? You think it could be useful for your website... 1200... If they were 50, it could be realistic, so we could know that they are really very high quality links, but 1200.. I am sure they are full of SPAM!
