SEO Question - Content spread out on page.

Good morning!

I have an SEO question I hope someone can help me with. I have a start-up eCommerce store. The wordpress theme I'm using has my product pages content split into 2 different parts of the page. Please see screenshot:

Looking at the source code, there is of course a lot of php code between the start of the product description and where it continues below.

I guess the theme is set up so you can have a snippet of text at the top and the main description below.

Would it be better (for SEO reasons) if I just put the whole product description at the top?

Thanks,
Jimmy

I can't see that it matters either way. What is frustrating though is that the product is called the "Gator Grater, a spiney back alligator." It obviously should have been called the Alligrater.

I also agree that the product should have been called the Alligrater.

      Just kidding

You should be fine having the content separated like that. Google doesn't require that all content be bunched up at the top of the page. If anything, the way you have everything laid out is more natural for users which Google would prefer in a manual review.
