Niche Sites. Different Hosts... Different C class ips...

Hi,

I understand the importance of having different class C IP addresses when hosting your high PR domains...

What I am wondering is if you have many niche websites how important is it to host them on different IP addresses or does it matter at all?

Is it good enough to say get a hostgator plan or two and have 20 different niche domains split across the two for a total of 20 websites?

I am asking specifically for ranking purposes and not getting penalized in any way. IF it is important to have different IPs and hosts, would I lose my rankings if I "cloned" my WP site and transfered it to the new host?

Also, I heard that you don't necessarily want to have Google analytics on each of your niche sites?

Thanks

Seems one of the most important stuff is missed out

Hope to see some experts share their opinions here on the topic.

I usually spread mine around a bit - 10-15 niche sites per shared hosting account and I've never noticed any ill effects from that.

lately I've been using Hostnine reseller however and you can get each site on a completely different IP (usually not just class C) spread throughout the US which is cool.

I never use Google analytics on any of my sites - not saying it has an effect or not but statcounter works great and i'd prefer not to have Google on my sites but I know lots of guys that do who don't seem to suffer any ill because of it.

    Thanks pars. Have few questions.

When you say multiple shared hosting accounts, is it necessary that the servers has to be in various places? Or just with one provider or data center is enough?

Even though if you do not use Google Analytics, you have to use webmaster tools to submit sitemap isn't it? In that case, would you prefer the same account or multiple accounts for that too?

And when you monetize mini niche sites with adsense, is it okay to use same adsense publisher id?

And would you advise multiple domain registrars or one registrar with private registering will work?

As long as the mini niche sites are not used as link farm, Google doesn't care about anything else above isn't it?

You know you could just find an SEO host and get unique C Class IPs you might pay a little more but that will definitely provide you what you are looking for...just a thought

Please explain this. The class of an IP has absolutely nothing to do with anything. Although, of course someone pushing "SEO" hosting is going to tell you otherwise. I have yet, in almost 10 years in the IT & hosting industry heard one web host guarantee that using their jacked up IP prices helps with SEO.

No, it doesn't. If you are building shady link farms trying to game the search engines, then this so called "SEO" hosting is for you.

Most likely you will "lose your rankings" when you get caught using shady tactics. We have plenty of extremely high ranking customers on plain ole' shared hosting.

Also, I heard that you don't necessarily want to have Google analytics on each of your niche sites?
    This I can't answer.

The only thing I've heard of being a problem or possibly raising a red flag SEO wise is if you do too much interlinking between your websites that are all on the same IP address.
