Miserable adsense earnings!

How come I get just a few cents from adsense, when someone clicks on ads?

How can someone make money with adsense? It just makes no sense!?

I have 15k unique visits on my site per month and still can't even make the threshold... This just kills me...

Any tips on how to make the threshold each month by adsense?

Wow 15k unique visits should certainly be enough to get you above the threshold for the month.
Is your CTR decent? If it is is every click bringing you only pennies?

I think people are starting to catch on about adsense and they know not to click on it. I have actually stayed away from adsense for a while now.

If I get no results in the next few following months, I think that will be my scenario also.

That's just the problem my CTR is below 1%... I have a site on football manager (it's a PC game) and there are really no relevant ads for my niche, so people are not properly animated by the ads to click on them. And yes, every single click is no more then few cents.

I make great money with adsense. It is totally niche dependent though. Some niches get 5 cent clicks some niches get 5 dollar clicks.

I experimented with all types of ad placements (start of the post, between the post footer and the comments, right sidebar, blended link ads and even floating fixed ads like 9gag has on their website), and still my CTR is low and clicks are worth pennies.

I suggest don't even wait it out for next few months and just scrap adsense. Irrelevant ads and pennies per click.

Why not try CPA? With all your visitors and your given niche, you might be in for a surprise on how much potential there may be.

I have a CPAlead widgets on my site and this is doing really well, but it's just frustrating how I can't make anything with adsense.

I would like to start making money with adsense, so that I can remove CPA widgets from my site, as they are not user friendly and are sending my visitors to competitors that are not using content lockers.

Also I'w seen this ad showing on all my competitors web sites, and I think this is exactly what would attract people to click on, because 90% of my visitors are from UK and age between 17-24, but this ad is not showing on my site...

Is there a way I can include this ad through adsense admin panel?

If your only getting 5 cents per click then you should take adsense and use a different method, keep changing it to you find something that works. 15k is decent traffic you should be making some money.

      Thanks Adam.

I'm aware it's a nice traffic number and I'll give adsense two more months to see if there'll be any results. If not, I'll stick to CPA.
