Anchor text effectiveness

First one because Google would think for the 2nd one that you're trying to rank up for search term 'Seo Service | Seo Company'. I suppose you can build links for both terms though, 'Seo Service' & 'Seo Company' separately with both of them pointing to just one URL.

Technically the first one would be more effective, but really you should be using many variations in your anchor texts when building links. Choosing just 1 or 2 is setting yourself up for failure.

First one, but as the poster above me stated, mix it up. Focus on generating backlinks for SEO Service, but also get backlinks for keywords like SEO Company, seo work, these guys do seo, etc.

Even go for generic anchors, like 'click here', or 'read more', or even just the URL.

I think you need to mix them up anyway. I guess you will need anchor texts like

Seo Service
Seo Services
Seo Service Company
SEO Companies
SEO

and some general anchor text such as
Click
Here
in this website
....

But in general you may probably put more effort on SEO service and SEO company

I'm currently doing SEO for 50 different URL's and have found that 25% anchor text density works best for new sites.

I have achieved top rankings with a mere 4 variations of anchor text.

Anchor text should take the form of keywords for which you want your site to rank. Anchor text gives useful information about the content of the page you're linking to and it tells search engines what the page is about.

In my opinion both are effevtive. But try to use different kind of pattern for one URL. When you use different kind of pattern for one URL, it's really beneficial for your sites.

Write a natural sentence that includes the 'desired anchor text.' Google is very sensitive about exact anchor text these days.

Anchor text usage should reflect the content (ideally the main SERP) the link is linking to and ideally help the page it is linked from as well (the latter isn’t always possible). This means if you can link highly related pages (related SERPs) together they will tend to do much better in their respective SERPs. Most pages on the SEO Gold site would benefit from the addition of the word SEO and so adding a link from every page of the site using anchor text “SEO Other Keyword(s)” is a good idea.

It's better for you to write a good and meaningful sentence including the anchor text. It should be meaningful and should never seem you've irrelevantly inserted the anchor text within the sentence.

I really don't know for sure, but I'd gut answer with: first one. The theory behind that could be that (like someone else said), Google notices you're trying to rank for the first term, and not the second too.

Anchor text is the one that carries the weight value of a certain link (mostly). However, as long as a link is linked to your site, even without using anchor text it will still transfer it's value.

And using only two anchor text is a useless effort. Better to use many keywords, or find some longer ones for better mixing.

The first one would give the best results, but you can use both and variations of both to build anchor text around. Just be sure to set anchor text in a natural, relevant sentence. Good luck.

You wouldn't want the pipe symbol as anchor-text anyways, like you have on example #2.

Anchor Text is what the whole SEO is about. The rest are just Advertisements. It is highly important to select the keywords and placing it as anchor text in quality websites.
