I want to monetize youtube videos...should I create one channel or multiple?

Hey everyone,
I have wanted to create 2-3 minute youtube videos and become a partner for a while, and have decided to act upon it immediately.
I have 2 specific niches that I want to target, and can make A LOT of videos for each niche. My question is:

Should I create two separate youtube channels (one for each niche, with a niche-related channel name) or one youtube channel with the videos for both niches within it (with a general channel name)?

Thanks in advance for the help.
Mike

    Start with a single niche & produce as many videos as possible, before moving to the next niche.

      @Yukon,
      So create a niche-specific channel and produce a few hundred videos (and hopefully get accepted into the YT partnership program), and then move on to creating a second channel for videos in a different niche?

      In addition, the channels will not be associated with the Google account that my adsense is linked to. I have having a YT channel under the same G accoutn as your adsense will not increase your chances at partnership? Is there any truth to this?

        You can monetize Youtube videos with only a small amount of videos (10-20), so get a few videos uploaded & then apply to connect your Adsense account to Youtube.

        I would use the same Google account that your Adsense account is already on, to get started. It's just easier, IMO.

    I would Suggest one channel. I have Millions of views throughout all my channels. You should stick to one niche when creating a channel. It's like watching TV. You tune into espn for sports. You tune into mtv for music. if you start Here I created some really good tips that could you out. Talk about many different ways to make money on youtube. http://youtu.be/fmfP888khDE
