Opinions on using same content on money site for backlinks??

Do you think it is a good/bad idea to use the same content on your "money" site as content for article backlinks on a blog network for instance?

My question is not about spinning just about using the same content.

    i would first copy a snippet of that content in quotations in a google search bar and see if any one else (or how many) other copies are out there.

    if just one or a few, no problem go for it! be sure to ad more link power to that page of content than the other copy/copies. This will give your money site copy more relevance.
