EZArticleLink - Do you use it & does it work, even in the wake of google slapping blog networks?

Anybody here using EZArticleLink, and if so, what do you think of it? (If you haven't heard of it, basically the idea is that you install an article directory on your own website, and then you can syndicate your spun articles with backlinks to your site on the installed directories that others have submitted - all the while new content is being posted to the article directory that you installed on your own site.)

I decided to wait and see what happened on my directory that I installed before adding any backlinks to my site.. but I noticed that the only article that has been posted isn't relevant and has no links to any site other than my own. This leads me to wonder if:
1. google is going to penalize me for having backlinks from irrelevant, low-value sites if I do choose to get backlinks through this service, and
2. ... if there isn't a link in the article that's posted on my directory, what's the point? Did the author forget to include a link? Isn't the whole point that the articles will have links to the author's site? Otherwise, why post? & it makes me wonder if my own articles will even link back to me.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

When you join the EZARTICLELINK network you make your domain a member of that network, and create a directory on the blog or website built on your domain to receive articles from EZARTICLELINK network.

You are also allowed you to post articles on the network with links in the articles, pointing back to your member domain.

Each article you post on the network will get gradually posted to the blogs and websites on other member domains.

Over time each article gets posted to about 500 blogs on other member domains giving you thousands of back links.

GOOGLE classifies these back links as 'INORGANIC BACKLINKS' and will penalize you.

I am a member of the EZARTICLELINK network with 48 domains I own members of the network.

I HAVE BEEN PENALIZED BY GOOGLE AND THREE OF MY BEST SITES HAVE BEEN DE-INDEXED.

You do get the back links, but you also take the risk of being penalized.

If you only want the back links and do not care about GOOGLE go ahead, BUT IF you want to be indexed and raked by GOOGLE, then it is not a good idea.

    Make your choice.

How is that different from any of the other article building schemes? UAW for example? Or are those getting penalized now, too?

I happen to be a free member of ezArticleLink and have submitted around 16 articles. After using the service for a few months,I haven't seen any dramatic changes in my rankings. It's a good service but you have to be careful how you choose your keywords.

i joined ez article link at around march 2011 back when i was hitting adsense really hard

the sites which i promoted with ez article link all did well and ranked very high

ez article link back links def do work as it helped me to get to $2k a month with adsense
but if you are in any highly competitve niche then you may need some stronger fire power than just ez article link

i stopped using it though towards the end later part of 2011 because i felt that it was a big risk and google would probably find out and slap the sites that were using it

if you decide to you use it then its your choice, but just rmemeber your running a high risk of getting a google slap because we all know the BMR story

i does work but i would go down a more guest blogging, blog comments and link bait route

i would also try to generate more of a social following on your blogs and generate more traffic that way too

I thought that the EZ site is considered like a poor link farm anyway...? Wouldn't it be practically worthless to get a link on there these days post-Penguin?
