If you were Google CEO for a day, what would you do?

It's clear that SEO is divided between two camps - the pure white hat guys, and the grey hat/spam guys - but it seems Google, no matter what it says, is trying to cater to both.

If you were Google CEO for a day, and you had the chance to make a difference in what direction the search mogul should take, what would you do? Will you sign policies that will aggressively punish spam? Will you use a more honest approach when it comes to communicating with SEOs? Will you put a halt to the impending Google world domination, or will you set a path that will let Google overtake the PC hardware and software market after it's done in hoarding all the smartphone market share?

Your ideas don't have to be strictly about Google SEO. It could be about ad publishing, Google's affiliate network, muscling competition, expanding to new territories, buying Yahoo! and/or Bing, or anything you can think of.

    If you were Google CEO for a day, what would you do?

    I would transfer all my money to the account of nicktyler and then award him a laughably high paid, part-time, work from home, consultant job.

    Then I would punish spam and take over the world quicker than planned just because I can.

    Then I would form a brass band of monkeys in tuxedo's and tour the world with them playing all the classics. (can't do all that in a day? I'm the CEO of Google and I do what I want when I want mo-fo!)

    There is already talk of them making big changes in the coming months.. all this panda stuff could be the tip of the iceberg.

    Of course if i was CEO of google the first thing i would do is transfer the funds into my account.

      Thats why I origionaly specified all my money (as CEO probably get paid quite well)and not all Googles money.

    I would shut down all Google products for an entire 24 hours, just to show the world what the internet was like in 1997.

    A lot of people complain about Google, I bet they would complain more If Google was offfline for 24 hours.

      They would complain, but if Google was out for longer, I'm sure Microsoft and maybe even Apple will stand up to the occasion.

        That's funny because Google could be down for a year & MS would still suck at search, lol.

        Then when Google came back after a year, MS would file a lawsuit claiming that Google is stealing their traffic.
