Theme Author Info & SEO

Hello SEO pros,
I am inquiring about the Wordpress theme author info that is located in the style-sheet of my unidentified theme.
I own developers rights for this theme.
My question is, can I change with author info without screwing anything up?
Also, I noticed that the theme tags included words such as, "Amazon" and "Affiliate".
Would this be an instant red flag for G00gle and potentially effect rankings, because it is labeled an affiliate site? Or does the theme author info in the style-sheet not matter?
