Hi, I noticed that someone from the same city clicked my ads twice yesterday and today the same city/person has clicked 15 times with a clickthrough of 70 %.
Do you think google is going to suspend for this? Is this an attack, it's taken me a year to reach my payout target and now this lol. should i inform google

thx

martin

Thats a little excessive. It could be an attack, but more likely is something innocent.

Some people would recommend informing Google, but typically they will filter this stuff out on their own and just remove the clicks automatically. It's up to you.

DO keep your server logs and DO block their IP from the site. If you run in to trouble, you can provide the server logs to the Adsense team and let them know that once you realized something was wonky that you took the proactive action to block this IP from your site.

Sure thing! If you are using Cpanel, you can get their IP from Cpanel > raw access logs. You will have do do some sleuthing to figure it out, however.

You can deny them in Cpanel using the IP deny manager.

I know it's stressful, but this kind of thing happens all the time and Adsense knows that too. If they do ever look in to it, they will ask for your logs so be sure to grab those and archive them just in case.

I recommend to use cloudflare, you can easily block any IP

Yes, you can do this in your Threat Control panel. I would recommend that CloudFlare users have mod_cloudflare installed before doing so.

It could be an attack - I had a competitor do an attack on my site recently. Is the clickthrough coming from the same IP address? If it is the same city, perhaps it is a friend 'trying to help'.

This could be a coincidence or some plot to kill your ad budget. There is a chance that some one is researching over the product/ service in the are which you are offering. Just tab the clicks if they appear unnatural to you after some time just block the visitor.

This is a click bombing... If I were you, I would remove the ads immediately from this blog/website.. You can also add the code back in a week or 2... because you are risking your account.
