New free keyword SERP check tool

We continue to make improvements on our SERP tool....

We've added checks to see if the keyword you are checking is in the title and description of the sites found, including yours. It is graphical and very easy to review the results. We also made the overall format better.

You can also mouse over the results in the title and description columns to see the title and description for each page.

More work left to be done, but we think it is already pretty useful. I know I use it twice a day to track many of my keywords. Did we mention it was free?

  Thanks. Just wait until we get the 30 day graphing of your keyword SERP position and the ability to add notes, so for example you do a fiverr gig, you can note the date and it will show on the graph. So if you see a jump in your keywords SERP, you'll know if it was useful.

  Thanks. The plan is to get the database side for registered users going, which will allow for multiple domains and more keywords. We will also use it to track 30 days worth of SERP rankings. From there we are considering having schedule jobs that will automatically check your SERP rankings on a daily basis and potentially email users a summary of the results.
  
  The scheduled job part would allow users to not have to visit the site everyday, for example, when they are on vacation, but still get the daily results.
  
  Not sure about charging at this point. The more we offer users the more likely we may have to charge to cover costs because the private proxies we use do cost us money, but we plan on keeping the current functionality free.

  Not sure how much more accurate it can get. We use private proxies to query google and parse the results they give. There is no caching or personal results issues to deal with. FYI, whenever you query google the results can vary depending on the server you hit, but there isn't anything more we can do to make it more independent and accurate.

  Another cool use with our SERP tool is if you are looking for opportunities to build backlinks, you can put domain(s) in the competing section and when you do your search, it will show whether those domains have opportunities in the top 100.
  
  For example, if you build backlinks on wiki.answers.com you can type that in as a competing domain and if there are links found in the top 100 for your keyword, check to see if you can add a backlink on that page to yours. If a page is ranking in the top 100 for your keyword and especially if it is ranking above you, it makes a great place to post your link.
  
  FYI...try to avoid spamming good sites to avoid being banned. Only post your link, if appropriate.

I personally don't believe on these kinds of tools because different tools shows different results however thanks to share this tool i will try it and will compare with other tools.

You could use two different browsers on your PC and get different results from google as well. The key is to not inject prior personal search results when you do your google search, not use cached results, and to use independant private proxies instead of shared proxies.

The results we give are direct from google, without any prior search results, clicks or google +1 usage to inflate or alter the results. We only use paid for private proxies, no shared proxies which you have no idea what someone before you did.

Do SERP results jump? Yes. The worse you are in the SERP results, for example if you are ranked 60th, your SERP results can jump around much more than if you were ranked 5th. But that has nothing to do with how we attain the results. That is all google. We are as independent on getting our results as we can be.

  It returns exactly what google says...I believe there is a difference between what google returns with instant results and without. Not much we can do about that.

  What would you want to export? We could easily do the domain, keyword, exact search count, current, previous, best. Not sure it would be practical to export the detailed results shown on the right, and we couldn't format it in CSV.

  You asked for it, and we are giving it to you. You can now export all your inputs including your domain, region, competing domains, keywords, search numbers, and results (current, previous, and best) in CSV/Excel format.

Your site is a bearer of good news! It puts me higher on all of my SERPs than the seoserp.com tool does... Any reason for this?

  Yes, and we are working on it. Basically for some keywords, google presents and groups the same domains together, especially if they have the #1 spot. For example, if yahoo.com had the top 4 SERP positions for a keyword, google present it differently, which is breaking our parsing. This is a limited bug.
  
  For example, if you go to google.com and do a search for a term that has the same domain for the top results and your domain is next in the SERP results behind those, you appear to be #2. serpserp.com splits that top domain out into individual results, so in our example of yahoo.com having the top 4 SERP results, on seoserp.com it would display yahoo.com as the top 4 positions and yours as 5th. Again, on google.com, it would appear that you are second.
  
  We are not sure how to handle that. In this example, would you prefer to be listed #5 or #2? We can go either way, so please let us know.

  We've made some improvements to the results. There were some discrepancies depending on how google was presenting the data, so some results were off. This has been corrected and hopefully the results are what you expect.
  
  One note though, we've chosen to not include duplicate domains if google chooses to include multiples, especially for the #1 result. We think showing these additional domains is not really a reflection of what the user is presented so we try not to include them in our results.

  You put your domain in, optionally put your competing domains, then enter up to 20 keywords and click either the individual or 'Check All SERP' button.
  
  In about 2 seconds per keyword we check your position in the top 100 and highlight and update your domain position and show your competing domains, if present. You can also easily see if the keyword is in the title and description, great for on-page SEO optimization, and can mouse-over to see the actual title and description of the top 10, your domain, and competing domains.

This site looks good, Thanks for sharing it. But if you want to get good traffic from Google, your pages should be ranked in top results and checking those results can be done manually

Manually? Sure, if you have 3 keywords. Our sites rank for numerous keywords, and we got tired of checking them one by one, then recording the results to a spreadsheet to see if they were improving.

Our site gives you accurate results. Typically when people use google, they get 10 per page, which google will avoid listing duplicate domains, even if they rank sequentially. When you request the top 100, which we do, google will return duplicate domains which will alter the results typical users see. This is a minor variation but it is actually more accurate ranking than what users see querying google directly.

Our site also will not list the multiple associated pages that google lists with the #1 spot. We believe these additional links are not really top SERP rated pages, but is a reward to the #1 spot. Either way, when you view the results in google, the #2 spot looks like the #2 spot, unlike some SERP checks that will drop the #2 domain down to #4 or 5 because google has 4 associated links to the top domain.

Hopefully that make sense. Bottom line, checking your results is much faster using a tool like ours and our site does give you accurate results.

  For those using our SERP tool, the domain name is changing. Because of this, your inputs such as domain, keywords, etc will be lost since we can't transfer cookies across domains. If you want to keep your data, use the export function or open two browser windows and cut/paste into the new domain name.
