May be there might be a celebrating event or public festival that week. Me too have faced same problems during festivals times, the keyword position remains same but visits will have fall down.

Its possible that your site content is not good and may not providing the required information to the visitors. As its a social networking site so to gain more traffic your site should be trustable, you have to create trust policies or might be your competitors are providing better services than yours.

According to me might be your competitor are doing quality work then you. Try to make your website content are unique and also informative to the readers. Use social networking sites. And also follow your website related followers and helpful to your followers.Your site have no more quality incoming links, try to get more quality incoming link from authority sites.

The ranking of my websites are same for most of the keywords.Its the traffic which have fluctuated despite of same rank.

Traffic is fluctuated based on search query and you can see impressions in the webmasters tools for your particular keywords. It's happening sometimes in google and its called google dance. You have to enhance the user metrics with your website means to provide the best user experience compare to your other competitive sites. Try to use different sets of keywords and execute them in a proper way.

Its depends upon many factors like weekend,festival time or any other issue so that people don't get time to surf internet.So don't be panic and keep target some more keywords.More keywords in top position in Google means more traffic.

Yes! Normally Search Engine Volume Varies from Month To Month! Some Time its Happened that keywords stabled at Their Position but Click Through Rate Decreased From Search Engine!

maybe your keywords has a lot of competition that's why your keywords rank falls down.. check your website using alexa or check your keywords using google keywords tool

*whew* I'm amazed that at least half the people posting in this thread didn't understand the OPs question at all. St Patrick's day was recently, but that's not really a large holiday.

People are using the internet just as much this week as last, I think it's probably just due to random fluctuations.

How are you checking your rankings? If you're just looking at search results through Google, make sure you're logged out of Google because Google will personalize your results and show you sites you visit more often (i.e. your site).

Another reason is that there could be something wrong with your tracking code.

Basically I use Rank checker by SeoBook. But I checked my ranking via different tools as well and didn't observed much variations.

However, for me it is just the trend, maybe the time of year where the traffic volume is lowest, or sometimes it was just pure coincidence.

Some keywords are seasonal. Some have high searches during certain months. What you see on Google keyword tool is actually the average for the whole year.

I'm happy to see spike in my traffic again. Thanks for the suggestion. Although I am not able to conclude anything about my this fluctuation.

Google has several data centers. if your IP is on a certain data center, then you will see those results... while others, G could be running a split test to get data about which result customers prefer (..in simple terms.. bounce rate,etc).

I recommend doing something to try and stimulate Googbot.. probably not in the form of blog network links
