Hi,

I have a question, how to be familiar with if a website has "Do-Follow" or not? For me this is significant if you want to do blog commenting. It will be a waste of time if you leave a comment for a blog/website that does not have "Do-Follow", any ideas?

Thanks

For checking the do follow link, check page source. If the hyperlink has the attribute no follow then it is no follow link otherwise by default it is do follow link.

First of all, the so-called "dofollow" don't really exist. It's just used to substitute to the absence of nofollow (which really do exist). To know if a particular page has nofollow attribute or not, you can use some tools like SEopen add on.

About building links, you should build both nofollow and "dofollow" links to make your link profile more natural. Leaving comments on blogs that are nofollow is not totally a waste of time. because you can still get a link from that particular blog. It will be a waste of time if your comment does not get approved by the moderator.

And one more thing: Sometimes google follows and indexes also the nofollow links. So it's good to leave comments on blogs.
Also, there are dofollow blogs that will show your link without nofollow attribute.

According to me you can download search status toolbar and install in your PC. Then right click on this toolbar and easily check website have do follow or not. If you do blog commenting then it's very important which blog you are using and also they have do follow or not.
Search engine can follow the do follow links. This means that Google can look the page is linking to any another page. Google uses this to rate pages. If links are dofollow it is goodyou’re your site and also for incoming links. Incoming links are links to your website, if they are dofollow they will get better your reputation in search engine. A link is nofollow if Google can not look the link that is positiosn on a site. Nofollow has been requested by search engine to block poor quality links and to decrease the effect of spamming links on the internet.

I think No Follow can works very well as the do follow. And I find so many no follow links by using Google webmaster tools.

      Agreed.

In order to check if a link is dofollow or nofollow, download seoquake or SEO for Chrome.

Don't stop building all kind of links, as long as they are natural.

First of all, the thing that you're going to check if it's a dofollow or not is not the website be the links in the website. To check if they're dofollow, you can check the page source and look for the part where the link in question is supposed to be. If it has the rel="nofollow" attribute in the <a> tag, it's a nofollow. Otherwise, it's a dofollow.

If you don't want to do it that way, you can use the browser add-ons that ralchevd here suggested.

The tried and tested way is to use SEOQuake toolbar with Firefox - you wont regret it. Otherwise you can now get the same toolbar for Google Chrome. You can either have a list of your dofollow links ( look for "nofollow=no") or you can set it to strike through nofollow links.
