Did a search, couldn't find an answer:

I have my link farms on different IP's than my main sites, but they share the same DNS IP address - does anyone know if this matters? Recommendations?

    Yep, you're screwed.

    Recommendation?

Don't use "link farms". What is this 1997?

hah, when I say "link farm" let me clarify; I have a website that has content on it and an outbound link to the site I want to give juice to. I don't have more than four total outbound links on the "link farm" and only 1 outbound link to the site I'm trying to boost so it's not the type of "link farm" that would get you penalized.

I'm wondering if it would be more valuable if I put it on a totally different DNS IP..anyone know ?

No need to do that so long as you are opting for domain privacy and using one of the top 100 domain registrars. Each registrar handles so many domains that it's impossible to draw any correlation.
