How to get a site re-indexed in google

Hi all - I lost about 20 autogen content driven blogs today to a google deindex.

I had 8 additional autogen blogs that did *not* get hit. The one difference between my blogs that got deindexed and the ones that didn't was that the blogs that did not get deindexed had an article as the homepage and maybe 4 other articles posted and linked to from the home page. In essence, the autogen stuff was buried under the "blog" / posts page area of the site.

Does it seem like, if I apply this same treatment to all my deindexed blogs and request a review from google that I could get the sites re-indexed?

Does anyone have experience with this?

Are they truly deindexed or did they just drop in ranking?

I only ask because people tend to post saying they've been deindexed, but in reality only experienced a ranking drop.

I get no results when doing a site:domain in google and scrapebox also tells me the that list of TLD's I entered were not in the google index so... I think they are deindexed though, admittedly, I could be missing something.

Are the contents readable at all?

Yes, the sites are all loading fine. I had heard that Hostgator was under a DDOS attack today but I don't think that has anything to do with my sites being indexed.
