The Best Microniche Backlink Strategy?

My partner and I at WSOtesters.com are working on building 50 microniche sites at once. We filtered out low competition keywords based on research with SEOCockpit and Long Tail Pro.

Up until recently we planned on specifically testing different Blog Networks. However, as many people know already, these networks are getting hit. So rather than blog networks, we've decided to test out specific methods used by marketers like yourselves!

Here's what we have so far:

- Our first 16 sites were set up earlier and are already testing UAW and MAN according to a strategy from Spencer of NichePursuits.com (we could throw more links at these, but for now we've decided to leave it be and see what happens)

- The other 34 sites will be divided into groups of 7 sites - 5 groups total (one group will only have 6)

So this means we need 5 strategies total!

Let us know who's strategy you would like to see tested in real time.

Should we do a fiverr only test? A magic submitter test? One of your favorite marketers strategies? A specific customized combination of things? Be specific and let us know (provide a link if possible)! For example: "Try ericnelsonators fiverr case study here " or "try Pat Flynns Strategy here" Each method will be tested on 7 sites so it should be better than a 1 site case study

Don't sleep on this. If you ever wanted to know which SEO method works best for niche sites and would like to see it tested in bulk, this is your chance, so speak up!

There certainly have been some fiverr case studies circulating around the forums so we are interested in putting them to the test.

Also magic submitter has been getting a bit of praise from some authoritative people so this also seems like an excellent subject for us.

      Any other suggestions?

I can see that these tests can give us an idea of the value of a strategy or network but I would never rely on one method to try to game Google.

But since you asked...what about linkvana and link authority?

More expensive but worthy of a test.

you can't just do a "fiverr test". you have evrything on fiverr so it's too general. if your doing fiverr test, be more specific.
I want to see 3 tests:

    1. how spammy links effect the website. Just do profile and comments. do it slowly. put them in backlink indexer. index no more than 200-300 per month.

    2. layers. build only about 10 quality contextual links per month from quality sources: wordpress, bloger, press release, weebly, hubpages etc'.
than build tons of link on top of these websites. use fiverr gigs or some software. I mean thousands of links pointing to each web 2.0 page. keep I am pretty sure I know what the results will be but I might be surprised. some people still manage to rank sites with xrumer if they build links steady over a few months.

I built 10 minisites and tried different backlicking strategies for each site. I learned so much from it.

You could always try the viral backlinking strategy

1,000 backlinks a day mixed with tons of social media signals... +1s,Likes, Tweets etc

SEO is about adapting to the game. One method could very well bring in lots of money and then one day dry up suddenly - it's at that point that you learn and adapt.

With that said, we have no problem whatsoever combining methods. If you have a combination of things, then we'll test it out - as long as it's cost effective.

The original post is meant to gather specific ideas. For example: "Try ericnelsonators fiverr case study here " or "try Pat Flynns Strategy here"

BTW - we are actually considering both of the above strategies heavily

We may add social signals into the mix. This may be something to try after the site already has a little bit of rank so we can see if it gives an extra boost.

Looks like we may test MicroNicheEmpire's service, ericnelsonators fiverr case study, and Pat Flynns Strategy on smartpassive income. We're also thinking about testing Magic Submitter. Any other suggestions?

You could use Magic Submitter to do Pat Flynns Strategy. All the tools are right in there, and it would save a ton of time too.

That is what I have started doing actually. Hopefully I will get some good results. Only time will tell really.

I suggest that you don't just mix all of the links becasue even thou it's probably the best way to rank a site, it will be hard to know which type of link bring the results.

p.s. I will like to see you try MicroNicheEmpire

We don't plan on mixing any of them at all. They will all be tested separately and we'll report on how each group does.

Nice, I look forward to the results too =]

You should also maybe try one site with just natural link building?

Pat Flynns strategy relies on Blog BLueprint - a Private blog network - does it not? I remember recently he came out and amended his strategy to use BMR instead of blog blueprint... I might stay away from that as I myself have seen all my BMR sites tank this month.

I would include a strategy focused around article syndication for links because, it am unclear how effective articles are anymore for ranking sites.

He re-amended it and took out BMR as well. So now there are no rental blog networks in the equation.

We have heavily looked into that and I am pretty sure that we will be testing Magic Submitter with Pat's strategy. Obviously it will be the updated version without BMR or blueprint.

We are already testing a handful of sites using UAW and MAN. We will see how that goes.

Any thought on trying out Backlinks Genie?

They just announced a massive overhaul to their system and it looks quite interesting.
I am in the middle of a free 7 day trial and with this upgrade announced I thought this might be something for you to consider?
