Question about domain name fate if Google shuts down AdSense account

If Google shuts down an AdSense account claiming that the owner has violated Google terms (probably by using scraped content), does anyone here know if that damages the domain names that were associated with that account?

In other words, say those domains are completely rebuilt with all original content and whatever else it takes to be compliant, and they don't publish AdSense. Has the fact that they were once associated with a shut down AdSense account diminished or even destroyed their ability to get decent rankings in the future?

And are they blacklisted somewhere?

Thanks for whatever whoever knows,

I would not invest in such a site.

Google keeps records forever. That means that the fact of an Adsense ban is now attached to that domain forever.

That is my opinion. You can always submit such a question to Matt Cutts and usually get it answered (www.mattcutts.com).

I'm pretty sure Google updates its index, and does not keep penalties. They'll keep the record that the site was banned from AdWords, but that itself has nothing to do with the ranking.

The crappy site content has to do with ranking going bad, but when the site content changes, ranking will change, too.

hpgoodboy's idea to aks Matt Cutts is a very good one, though.

    Hi

I don't think so. A banned adsesne account means Google doesn't display ads for that Pub-ID. It bans the AdSense account, not the website.

You could still monetize the site with CPA, CJ or Amazon for example.

Agree with you, penalty is for pub-id not for site
