Would website organization be enough to put my site above the rest?

I have this great idea for a computer help website, the problem is I cannot impliment it due to budget constraints. So I have decided to try and create some sort of infastructure to support my endevor, namly some smaller websites based upon a scalable idea.

My website idea is already based upon organizing information differently, so I figured I might create a smaller mini-site with information arranged in an easy to find way. I've taken a look at other similar sites in my field (computer/ PC troubleshooting/ etc etc) and they are mostly messes so only people who know what they are searching for can find it.

the only problem is I don't know if this will be enough to make a website stand out. What do you think? Take a look at what search words like "computer troubleshooting" and other bring up, would you prefer a nice, user friendly organized website to those?

It will definitely make it stand out.

But the thing is that alone wont get you traffic.

So it's good practice and if you get to the top they will prefer your site over the others and return to yours

But you still have to get it to the top!

Cool. I wasn't thinking that would get me traffic alone lol, but I was hoping it would keep people coming back, and hopefully the word would spread. I was just wondering it the organization would be enough of an idea to make my site stand out.

If you have something that's better than the rest of course it would keep people coming back

Indeed. Different does not necessarily mean better. I would suggest taking your idea, putting it on a site and doing some cheap usability testing against it to confirm that it really is easy to use for a wider range of people and not just for yourself. I've had some great results with usertesting.com.
