Is SEO Firefox reliable

Hi All,

can anyone please tell me if the "SEO Firefox" Plugin provides reliable link information?

I'm a newbie, and the reason I ask is because I am about four weeks into a WSO that I purchased recently. The plan was to create the first page, then add nine initial posts. From the start, I had to start building Social Bookmarks using IMAutomator, - one per day over a twelve day period I think. And then, as I add each of the nine posts one per day, submit the new post using Social Monkey to the 25 links that Social Monkey lines up for you.

Then let it settle for a couple of weeks. OK, done all that. So I thought that by now I'd have a few backlinks to my site.

I installed the SEO Firefox plugin to see if the backlinks were showing up, and hey presto, pretty much zilch. All the figures set to zero except for a '3' in the Blekko links field.

Can anyone throw any light on this please? I'm not sure if I'm allowed to include the url. If that's ok, can someone please just tell me and I'll add it.

    Hi,

    Have you tried OpenSiteExplorer or Majestic SEO for finding the backlinks?

    Are you sure that the links that you have built are do follow?

    Also, those links may not be indexed, try building some links to those links to get them indexed (if they're not already).
