Why is Google Hiding SERPS?

I have a keyword that only shows up on page 2 if I go to:

Hide My Ass! Free Proxy and Privacy Tools - Surf The Web Anonymously

and type in the keyword.

If I go to regular google it's nowhere to be found, why is that?

Thanks!

Google will show you different results based on your search history and where you are searching from.

I'm using Chrome, I have deleted my web history and logged out of my Gmail and still nothing. So your saying that people in different parts of the US will see different results for that keyword?

Exactly. It's different by search history, region, and many other factors.

Is the search term you are using a general term or something specific to a region?

Are you using Incognito mode when you use Chrome?

    It's general

I haven't been using Incognito mode, but I just tried it and it wouldn't show up still. I asked one of my friends in Atlanta to search, and he found it on page 2. When I search anonymously on Hide My Ass! Free Proxy and Privacy Tools - Surf The Web Anonymously it shows it on page 2 as well.

Try the site in my signature and let me know the result. It will be independent of your search history and results.

It said "Domain not found in top 100 results"

UMS already pointed out some reasons. There are some more reasons. Lets say you are within New York and the server serving your webpage is in Texas. Now You would see little different ranking in SERPs when you would search same keyword from New York and from Texas. However if the keyword is local then it would be certainly but if the keyword is international lets say "The big bang" then the difference would be very little. It also depends on how popular a site within an area. A website which is very popular within Australia and less popular within USA would be in different positions in Australia and in USA.

There are many more factors included. Just feeling sleepy.. lolzz

Off topic, but you can't actually surf the net anonymously.

Big myth. Anyone who says "proxy" has no idea
what that "proxy" is or anything about it. What do
you know that proxy? You don't know who, what, or
where it's being run. You take a big chance. You
don't think SOMEBODY is keeping track? People have
a legit use to use proxies. Like some in China.

You run some pretty good risks by trying to surf
anonymously. The internet is run by people trying
to keep you safe. For the most part. Trying to
avoid those people is like walking into a lawless
town and saying you're safe because there's no
    police force.

I thought the title of this thread was a little funny.

Google hiding SERPs. I guess that's the ultimate
anti-seo algo there is. A searcher sees nothing!

People make good money selling to the rich. But the rich got rich selling to the masses.

If that were the case then I would be seeing it on page 1, ranked #1, because I visit the site all the time.

That's not true. Personalization doesn't necessarily mean that they will show you where you've been before.

I have the same issue here in the UK, which is why I use rank tracking software that can find the "real" ranking - although these will shortly stop working by the sounds of it.
