hi there , i am newbie in field of seo. I have a blog on movies and I wants to create its backlinks , and on many websites i found that commenting on websites is best source of backlinking , but what happens when backlink on comment or your name is No-follow.
Whether commenting on these blogs really helps in increasing SEO or it is useless.
Thanks in advance.

You must comment on do-follow blogs for counting them as SEO supported backlinks. But, don't miss blog posts which have large amounts of traffic because, with intelligent commenting, you've a chance for direct traffic.

but if blog is dofollow and link is nofollow then what happens ? Means , when we comment on any website they ask for Name and website url , after submitting comment website link comes on your Name. If that link is nofollow then what happens ? is that link building is useless ?

Sure these links help. Do follow links pass PR but that's not everything (very little help for SERPS on it's own). Quality no follow links will help with both SERPs and help generate traffic.

No it helps .... you must have a dofollow and nofollow backlinks as from my experience it make your site safe and looks like natural than all the backlinks are dofollow

Dofollow links are what you need to build authority through your website via "link juice". However, nofollow backlinks are important as well to keep the links feeding to your website looking natural, which is important to search engines.

Don't forget that just because a blog only offers nofollow comments, it doesn't mean it's useless. Most blogs are nofollow, but commenting on blogs that are related to whatever it is you're promoting, while leaving a link in your comment that will take the reader to your website, is very beneficial for you, regardless if it's a dofollow or nofollow link.

Do follow works for SEO purpose and no follow works for direct traffic sources.

Yeah some people say no follow links helps your site ranking not pr ranking and do follow helps you in both. But i think no follow link use only for traffic generation purpose.

Unless you contribute useful information in the discussion, it won't help you. Do not just comment "thanks" or "good post" but rather show an example that you are involved in that discussion.
