    There are a lot of factors that effect CPC. For example some image ads may pay 20x more than a link unit ad. Also the lower the ad appears in your HTML and the ad unit itself, the less it pays.

    Obviously different advertisers pay different amounts per click as well. The bonus report in the WSO in my sig provides one solution to filter out low CPC clicks.

    Sometimes you paid based on views it seems, I see this often as well, clicks for $0.01 and sometimes it doesnt even indicate that I had a click and I still get 0.01

    Various factors effect CPC, it depends on niche and keywords.

    Another is location of the click. If you're targeting the US, a click from a visitor in the US will be much higher than a click from a visitor in Asia (for example).

    Maybe your keyword doesnt have any advertisers so they are just showing any crappy ad to fill the gap?

    CPC depends upon which country your traffic belongs. US traffic Clicks are generally more valuable, also sometimes a few invalid clicks may show up in your accounts that are not credited for money. I too had got a few times a click for 2.4$ and then after few minutes the click was there but not the money Its natural.

    So pity to say that today I got 0.05 for 8 clicks. How can anyone justify that ??DD I think google is playing games with us now.
    By the way, I noticed that clicks from UK yield the most that the clicks from other countries.

      regarding adsense.

      You would then realize that perhaps, just perhaps, some of
      your clicks are invalid.....

      You would also learn a whole bunch of other nonsense
      raised in this thread.

      Just proves people don't read, leading to a most problems
      and bans with adsense.
