You can build backlinks every day to your sites whether it is web 2.0 properties, blog posts, profile links, social bookmarks or any other type of links you will always need these backlinks to get indexed. While pinging individual urls can be a good easy option to get a backlink indexed, but it is not enough as there is so much work involved and if the pages you are pinging have little content then pinging is not just enough. We do know that RSS feeds are also another option but still not the only way for an effective backlink indexing process.
We create and ping random content pages on multiple randomly picked domains that we one with 100links/page.Then, We create RSS feeds of your backlinks and ping them.

Cheers, I'm not 100% what you're pinging though...

Are you pinging the xml link from RSS Holder?

or, the links from the aggregators?

      Cheers

Do you know that you can ping your backlinks without converting them to RSS too? You can use pinomatic or pingfarm and ping your backlinks directlky without making RSS feed from them too. Its an easier to do work and has the same result.

Yes, I use ping farm all the time.

If I ping the xml site map link though, does that not ping all the links in it though?

I added 10 links to RSS HOLDER.

So, what's better, pinging the xml link... or popping the 10 links into ping farm?

Do they both have the same effect?

I don't want to over ping, as this is not good.

There are a few tools to convert HTML to RSS feeds, though they are paid but. Once you create RSS feeds, submit the RSS format into Google webmaster tools.
